Why make a Will?

You may be gone but you’re not forgotten. By drawing up a will, and making sure you update it when necessary, you’ll be saving your loved ones a lot of trouble later.

If you don’t have a will:

Your spouse and children could end up with less than you’d hoped because of the laws about intestacy.
You might land them with a large inheritance tax bill, but that can often be reduced or avoided with a little planning.
Badly-written wills, drawn up without proper advice, can cause as much trouble as no will at all.

The good news is that making a will can be easy and inexpensive. If you like, you can take advantage of our online service, or download a will writing pack to fill in.
