Probate Valuation
When someone dies, their
estate needs to be valued and any tax paid before beneficiaries get
their share. Probate valuation can be complicated and time-consuming, but our
established service makes everything a lot easier.
The period after a close friend or relative's death can be
difficult for everyone involved. Probate Valuation might be the last thing on
your mind, but it's important because you need to:
•
work out the amount of inheritance tax payable, if any
•
calculate any capital gains on sales made by the executor
•
establish the value of any assets to be inherited as
specified in the will. This is important for the beneficiary's capital gains
tax calculations in the future.
•
Remember that you need to swear on oath that the information
is accurate. With our service, you can be sure that it is.
